Global Understanding is the perfect opportunity for you to immerse yourself in a unique international experience, without having to leave Brazil. In partnership with East Carolina University (ECU) and more than 40 educational institutions in around 25 countries, UniMAX offers you the chance to participate in an innovative course, where borders disappear and global connections become real.
The Bilingual Program is an initiative by UniMAX that aims to incorporate a second language, especially English, into the curricula of its educational units.
Its main objective is to develop writing, reading and comprehension skills in the English language with a focus on the professional context. In addition, the program increases employability opportunities, facilitates international exchange opportunities and promotes academic excellence among students and graduates.
Many partner institutions request documentation issued by UniMAX, such as: academic transcripts, enrollment certificates, attendance certificates, course completion certificates, graduation certificates, and program content. These documents must be requested from the Customer Service Department and, if translation of such documents is necessary, the student must provide a translation or certified translation, as applicable by the host institution.
Many countries are signatories to the Hague Convention, which regulates a streamlined process for document validation. In other words, if we are talking about two countries that are signatories to the Convention (the country that issues the document and the country that receives the document), the document is valid when apostilled.

To participate in UniMAX international programs, students must meet the specific criteria set out in the official regulations. This document contains all the rules, academic requirements, eligibility criteria, required documentation and application deadlines, ensuring a transparent and organized process. The complete regulations are available in the annex for consultation. Specific subjects should express their interest directly to the coordinator of their course, who will analyze the student's academic and curricular profile based on the established guidelines.
